Accessibility Statement

This website is run by the InComm Project Partners. Specifically, the project members at TU Darmstadt are responsible for dissemination. The InComm Project and its members are committed to providing access to our website to all individuals. To do this, we are actively working to increase the accessibility of our website.

Reporting Accessibility Problems with this Website

We’re always looking to improve the accessibility of this website. If you find any problems that aren’t listed on this page or if you encounter any accessibility barriers on our website, please contact us at info@incomm-project.eu.

Using this Website

We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen
  • navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
  • listen to most of the website using a screen reader

Conformance Status

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed below.

Issues with PDFs and Other Documents

Some of our older PDFs and Excel documents don’t yet meet accessibility standards: for example, they may not be marked up so they’re accessible to a screen reader.

Issues with Interactive Tools and Other Elements

Some of our interactive forms are difficult to navigate using a keyboard. For example, because some form controls are missing a ‘label’ tag. This is difficult for us to change, as our forms are built through third party software.

Some of our online elements (specifically, the outputs element and the planned activities element) are difficult to navigate using just a keyboard. There are a few information-laden images without the needed text alternative, namely the Customer Journey draft and the stoplight interpretation of the Student Survey 19-20. The Student Survey 19-20 results graph is also currently inaccessible.

How we Tested this Website

This website is tested regularly using the WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool to identify and correct accessibility issues.
